Piston-cylinder reactor U202 is a mobile laboratory scale set-up designed for pressurizing samples under high pressure at ambient/ elevated temperatures. The high pressure chamber is piston-cylinder type (LC30T). Teflon ampoules are used as sample cell and sample can be pressurized directly in the Teflon ampoule or can be encapsulated in an additional internal tube. Sample cell is closed on one side by plug which can be equipped with electric feed through for dielectric measurements.
The pressure in the reactor is generated by a hydraulic intensifier driven by a hand pump (compression) and by compressed air (withdrawing).
