Products > Accessories > Pressure gauges
Parameters:
Pressure : up to 2 GPa
Pressure medium : Neural gases, non-polar liquids
Essential Features :
We offer two types of pressure gauges: Manganin Pressure Gauge (MPG10) and Semiconductor Pressure Gauge (SPG10). The measurement is based on the dependence of their resistance upon pressure. Due to their size and temperature dependency, the Manganin gauge is dedicated for pressure measurements in larger cells at ambient temperatures whereas the Semiconductor gauge is for pressure measurements in smaller cells at cryogenic temperatures.
Type | Material | Temperature [K] | Resistance [ohm] | Dimension [mm] |
---|---|---|---|---|
SPG10 | Highly doped bulk n-InSb single crystal | 1-310 | 0.01-0.05 | 4×0.4×0.3 |
MPG10 | Manganin wire coil | 120-370 | 60, 75 | Ø6.2, Ø8.3 |
SPG10 is foreseen for mounting with four contacts on different sample holders.
MPG10 can be mounted directly on sample holder (smaller cells) or placed inside a protective cup provided with four contacts (larger cells).
