Essential Features :

The Liquid Optical Vessel LOV 102 is  dedicated to spectrophotometry studies of liquid samples at high pressure and at moderate temperatures. The design of the Vessel is a single ended mono-block cylinder with a threaded closure on the top and two optical closures on the lateral surface. Sample is enveloped in a rectangular cuvette closed by membrane that separates sample from pressure medium.

Rectangular cuvette and cuvette holder

The cuvette holder is designed to serve two main purposes, which are to accommodate rectangular cuvette and to keep its proper position to the optical axis. The cuvette holder is adjusted to the bore of the body and blocked against rotation inside the vessel. The design of the holder also allows to place the tip of thermocouple in the vicinity of the sample.

The Vessel can be cooled/heated by connecting the removable double layered external thermostatic jacket with a circulating bath. Due to its symmetricity it can be placed on the body upside down.

The supporting frame consists of two suspension plates which are mounted on a bracket.
