Propylene glycol + water

Essential Features :

The High-pressure Multivessel Apparatus U111 is a mobile unit developed for high-pressure kinetic experiments of biological materials for example inactivation of microorganisms and enzymes. The multivessel system allows simultaneous treatment of several samples at equal pressures and temperatures in different pressurization time. Enveloped samples can be subjected to high pressures at ambient, lower or elevated temperatures. Two versions of the apparatus have been developed based on vessel’s heating/cooling configuration and each vessels are provided with in-vessel thermocouple. Pressure process is controlled by high pressure pump type U111.

This version of apparatus is characterized by vessels thermostatted by heat exchangers (external jackets), connected to an external circulator. It applies better for pressure vessels with larger dimensions and wider pressure range.

This version of apparatus is characterized by vessels immersed in a heating/cooling bath, incorporated into the apparatus. It allows wider temperature range and better vessel temperature homogeneity. However, in this version, number and size of pressure vessels are limited by bath size.
